Mahindra Thar Features
Mahindra Thar with its sporty and royal features is quite adventurous and appeals enthusiastic. Its square jaw, masculine looks makes it different from its competitors and of its owner’s choice. With its great features it can meet all the off roading criteria that its owner can think for. Its interiors are not of a luxurious kind but are enough to look after its owner’s comfort as its not a luxurious car but a jeep. The rounded headlight (one that are in jeep) with slotted grille give it a bold front look. It even has some luxurious features of tilt and power steering with adjustable seats which make the drive comfortable and enjoyable for long hour’s journey. 2 front cup holders are even present. Fabric door trim, digital odometer, accessory power outlet, low fuel warning light, fabric upholstery, glove compartment and cigarette lighter are some of its other features. Body colored bumpers, tachometer, alloyed wheels with tubeless tyres and 2 electronic trip meter accompanies it for a smooth and relaxing drive with the necessary requirements. Power windows, remote centre locking, remote fuel filler, leather
seats, door mirrors on both sides of the door with tinted glass and music system which is optional enhances its features and looks. It even has auto locking hub lock system which means four wheeler drive excursions needn’t require anyone to get out of the car to manually lock it. It is matched with five speed manual gear box. Adding to it is a new improved dashboard designed for additional utility space and even an open able windshield for additional ventilation on road. Both the Thar variants have a seating capacity of seven. Thus, Thar is known for its looks and on-road capabilities and not for price built quality. Its exteriors are enhanced with halogen head lamps, front fog lights for the foggy days, side stepper for elders and children and integrated antennas. But front seat belts, engine immobilizer and side and front impact beam are for the safety measures. With these features it is easily competetible with any other car and comes in four different colors of black, red, silver and beige.
Mahindra Thar Driving and Handling
Mahindra Thar with its features of survivability can swallow any terrain that world can throw in its way. Known for its ability to withstand any punishment, the Thar uses a ladder-on-frame chassis design trusted by the military. It has the widest tyre footprint in its segment which never let it escape its grip even on the slipperiest terrain. Its acrobatic independent front suspensions and abuse-friendly leaf-spring rear suspensions accompanied by five speed-manual Borg Warner gear box are a perfect match for an incorporating low and high leveling ratios. In terrains where most SUV’s fail, Thar goes on effortlessly. Capable of maintaining composure even in the most ruffling conditions it cares a little for obstacles while caring a lot for your comfort. Its twin bucket seats even keeps you planted when gravity is not on your side. A premium soft top canopy ensures that after a good mud-bashing, Thar’s interiors wont look like its exteriors.
Mahindra Thar Conclusion
Mahindra Thar is a car that genuinely dislikes the road. The Thar’s iconic design, turbocharged engine and military grade construction make it feel right at home in even the most challenging terrain. The extreme mobility of the Thar makes previously unreachable destination, inviting. It makes grand peaks stoop down to it and dense forests open up for it. It treats rivers like roads and valleys like potholes. With the land’s most exotic locations as its playground, it is no wonder that the Thar has such a bad attitude to roads.
