August 27, 2026: JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG Hector Tomahawk EV in India at an introductory price of Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV comes with a 69.2kWh battery pack and offers a claimed 517km range on a single charge. It is available in both five- and seven-seat configurations, making it a practical option for families. The EV produces around 201bhp and 310Nm of torque. MG also offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, reducing the initial price to Rs 13.99 lakh, with a battery rental charge. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2026.
