August 27, 2026: JSW MG Motor India has launched the Hector Tomahawk PHEV in India at an introductory price of Rs 25.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The seven-seater plug-in hybrid SUV combines a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with a 20.5kWh battery and electric motor. MG claims the SUV can deliver an electric-only range of up to 115km and a combined driving range of more than 1,100km. The PHEV produces 201bhp from its electric motor, while the petrol engine develops 102bhp. Bookings have opened, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November 2026.
