Porsche is the name which gives a feel of richness while speaking it. The opulence of this brand of automobiles has its origin in Europe and has spread in the entire world since 1996. Generally known for its innovations of the sports cars and SUVs which have given it much success and have wrapped it in the series of many awards for its performance since ages, the company is achieving the milestones every then and now. Porsche Boxster is one of these which is a roadster having the capacity of two and proposed with mid-sized engine. Since its launch, the car has been going through a series of upgradations and being revised to improve its performance.

Firstly launched in single variant with 2.7 L motor engine and then had a new raised version added in the list as Boxster S with 3.4 L motor has given new heights to the company. This one is known for having maximum volume sold and getting huge profits flown in the company. Having looks of a sports car with the convertible top it gives new excitement to the users to face new challenges and make them more passionate about driving. One can actually have tremendous fun while driving this roadster. Its both the variants are petrol engine powered but having a difference in their strengths and so the overall performance.

The base variant is 2893 cc petrol engine liberating the power and torque of 258 Ps @ 6000 rpm and torque of 290 Nm @ 4400 rpm and the second and last most variant is powered by 3496 cc petrol engine liberating the power of 310 hp @ 5500 rpm and the torque of 360 Nm @ 4400 rpm. Bothe the engines are harmonized with the seven speed automatic transmissions for excellent performance. A little difference in mileage and pickup is there which does not affect the excellence of both at all.  261 kmph is the top speed attained by Boxster and 272 kmph by Boxster S.

As the car is missing the rear compartment so all the rear features which are present in the high level sedans are not present in it. Except that it contains all the luxurious features of a sedan. Features like sports seats, Active Suspension Management, Sports Chrono package plus, TPM and integrated dry – sump lubrication are the exclusive features comforting the interiors with the standard ones.

Exteriors are designed with rear wing, 2 luggage compartment, resonance intake manifold exhaust and mechanical locking rear differential hood system to make the best usage of each part of the car. Navigation system, Porsche Doppelkupplung, Mobile Phone and Bluetooth connection, Communication Management, BOSE sound system with iPod, USB and AUX connectivity and Variocam are some entertaining and technology based features to assist the occupants and help them in multi-tasking and also keep them connected to the outside world and acknowledge them about their surroundings all the time.

Loads of safety features with added skills making them more secure are uploaded in the car. The agility and cornering dynamics make the drive safe.
