July 24, 2025: French carmaker Renault has launched the highly anticipated Triber compact SUV in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom price). The top variant of the compact SUV is priced at Rs 9.17 lakh (ex-showroom price).  The facelift Triber continues to come with the existing engine configuration of 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, generating the power of 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. It receives major cosmetic updates on both exterior and interior fronts, making it compatible with existing market conditions. 

 

December 11, 2019: It is reported that overwhelmed from the success enjoyed by the recently introduced compact SUV Triber, the French car maker Renault is going to upgrade it with the new 1.0 liter turbocharged engine, thus replacing the existing 1.0 liter petrol engine. The new engine is believed to make its debut in the upcoming Auto Expo 2020 and will be compliant to BS-VI emission norms.
