Tata Nexon Line-Up Extends To 96 Variants

March 28, 2024: Tata Motors expands Nexon SUV line with 5 new AMT variants, offering options in petrol and diesel from Rs 10 lakh and Rs 11.80 lakh respectively. This boosts Nexon's lineup to 96 trims. Previously, the entry-level petrol AMT was Rs 11.70 lakh, and diesel AMT was Rs 13 lakh. Features include LED DRLs, touchscreen, and safety features. The Nexon AMT offers a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with manual and automatic gearbox options. Additionally, Tata Motors plans to introduce a CNG option, potentially making Nexon India's first turbocharged CNG car.

Tata Motors Ready To Launch The Facelift Nexon And Nexon EV

 
August 28, 2023: The domestic carmaker Tata Motors is all set to launch the facelift version of Nexon and Nexon EV in India on September 14, 2023. Continuing the existing 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-diesel engines, the new Nexon may receive a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox along with the existing five-speed manual gearbox, six-speed manual and a six-speed AMT transmission system. The new Nexon is expected to receive several interesting updates on both interior and exterior portions.
 
 

Tata Nexon Prices High Upto Rs 18,000

 
November 29, 2022: The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has increased the prices of its best-selling compact SUV Nexon up to Rs 18,000. The company has also discontinued the six variants including XZ, XZA, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O), XZ+ (O) Dark and XZA+ (O) Dark. At the same time, it has also extended the line-up of the Nexon family by adding six new variants namely  XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), XZ+ (P), XZA+ (HS), XZA (L) and XZA+ (P). 
 

IAF To Increase The Use of Electric Vehicles For Its Transportation

 
November 16, 2022: According to reports, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has added the Tata Nexon, Electric to the fleet of cars used by its officers and staff members for transportation. The first fleet of 12 Tata Nexon Electric was received by Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari in the presence of  IAF senior officers and other members.
 
 

Six Variants Of Tata Nexon Removed From The Portfolio

 
November 3, 2022: The domestic car maker Tata Motors has suddenly discontinued six variants - XZ, XZA, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O), XZ+ (O) Dark and XZA+ (O) Dark from the family its best-selling compact SUV Nexon. According to reports, the company will launch the next generation of Nexon developed on the new ALFA platform next year. There is no change in the price bracket, and the available variants are offered with the existing price range of Rs 7.60 lakh to Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom price).

April 12, 2022: The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has launched the upgraded Nexon EV Max in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 17.74 lakh and going high up to Rs 19.24 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new Nexon EV max receives power from the powerful battery of 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers an average of 437 km (under standard driving conditions).

May 4, 2022: The long-range Nexon EV is one of the highly awaited vehicles in the Indian car market at present time. According to reports, the Nexon EV is slated for launch on May 11, 2022. It is reported to receive an upgraded power battery and deliver an average of 400 km on a single charge. November 30, 2021: According to recent reports the domestic car manufacturing company Tata Motors has hiked the price of compact SUV Nexon up to Rs 11,000. The price of the Nexon portfolio now starts from Rs 7.30 lakh and go high up to Rs 13.35 lakh for the top-end variant. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices. Mechanically the Nexos is available with two engine options of a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Recently the company had discontinued the XMA, XZ, and XZA+ (S) trims, and launched XM trim to fill the gap.
 
 

Tata Motors Delivers 65 Units Of Nexon EV To Kerala Motor Vehicle Department

November 10, 2020: According to the sources of domestic carmaker Tata Motors it has delivered 65 units of its compact SUV Nexon EV to the Kerala Motors Vehicle Department as a part of ‘Safe Kerala’ programme initiated by the Kerala state government. The ‘Safe Kerala’ concentrates on providing safe driving experience to the natives by providing necessary training to the drivers raising awareness for the use of pedestrians, safe roads, and ensuring the smooth flow of traffic.

September 3, 2020: According to recent industry reports the Tata Nexon EV from the domestic carmaker Tata Motors has emerged as the bestselling electric vehicle in the country by selling out 296 units in August 2020. With this the Nexon EV dominates 60% of electric vehicles share in India. The other electric vehicles namely MG ZSEV, Hyundai Kona EV, Tata Tigor EV, and Mahindra e-Verito do not stand close to Nexon EV.

August 19, 2020: Domestic carmaker Tata Motors on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, rolled out the 1000th unit of the Nexon EV from its Pune manufacturing plant. The first of electronic Nexon was launched six-months back. The Nexon EV offers an average of 312 kilometers after a single charge and is one of the affordable vehicles within the country at an affordable price tag.

Tata Nexon EV Available @ Monthly Subscription Starting From Rs. 41,900

August 10, 2020: Tata Nexon EV, the best-selling compact SUV from the domestic carmaker Tata Motors is now available at the monthly subscription. It is reported that the EV Nexon is offered with three options of monthly subscription including monthly subscription consisting of 18 months, 24 months, and 36 months. The monthly EMI for these periods will be Rs. 47,900, Rs. 44,900, and RS. 41,900 respectively.

Tata Nexon EV Price Starts from Rs. 13.99 Lakh

 
January 28, 2020: Home-grown carmaker Tata Motors launched the EV Nexon in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs.  13.99 lakh and going high up to Rs. 15.99 lakh (both the price are ex-showroom in India). Mechanically, it is equipped with liquid-cooled and IP 67 certified 30.2 kWh battery, that delivers an average of 312 kms on a single charge. It takes an hour to charge the battery up to 80 percent and eight hours to charge it fully by using the home charger.

Bookings For Tata Nexon EV Starts @ Payment of Rs. 21,000

December 23, 2019: Domestic car maker Tata Motors has initiated the bookings of Tata Nexon EV, the first compact SUV in India at the down payment of Rs. 21,000. The company had unveiled the vehicle last week and is getting ready to launch the same sometime during the next month.

Tata Replaces XT Variant Of Nexon Compact SUV With XT+ Variant

 
August 6, 2019: Recently the home grown car maker Tata Motors introduced the XT+variant in the family of Nexon compact SUV, and replaced the existing XT variant without any promotion. Continuing the existing engine configurations of 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre diesel engines, the XT+ variant is upgraded with seven inch touchscreen infotainment system, projector headlamps with DRLs and few more. The price XT+ petrol and diesel are priced Rs. 8.02 lakh and Rs. 8.87 lakh respectively.

July 31, 2019: Recently Mr. N Chandrasekaran, Chairam, Tata Group, during the Annual General Meeting of the Tata Group announced that the company will launch four electric versions including the Nexon, Altroz, upgraded Tiago along with one more new vehicle during the duration of eighteen months. The Nexon electric is believed to make its debut by the end of this year and carry the powertrain from the Altroz SUV.

August 9, 2018: The made in India, compact SUV Nexon has received four starts in recently conducted global NCAP test. During the test the compact SUV provided protection to head and neck of the front seat passengers followed by the complete protection to children upto the age of 18 months. The test was conducted at the speed of 64 kmph.

July 18, 2018: With an objective to offer relaxation to the aspirants of Nexon AMT, domestic car maker Tata Motors has introduced on more variant titled as XMA, apart from existing XZA+ AMT trim, which also is the top end variant in the line up. The new XMA AMT is almost Rs. 2 lakh less price than the XZA+ variant. Continuing with the same existing engine configurations in both petrol and diesel variants the XMA AMT identically looks similar to regular Nexon except, the introduction of ivory white roof option.

May 3, 2018: Domestic car maker Tata Motors has finally launched the highly awaited AMT variant of its newly launched compact SUV Nexon in the Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 9.41 lakh for petrol variant and Rs. 10.30 lakh for diesel variant, both the prices are ex-showroom prices New Delhi. The new AMT system has been offered in top end trim XZA+ and has been christened as Nexon Hyperdrive S-SG. Mechanically the AMT system continues to be offered with the same engine configurations in both the petrol and diesel variants, but embellishes few contemporary features.

January 29, 2018: It is reported that the domestic car maker Tata Motors is all set to showcase the AMT version of its compact SUV Nexon during the Indian Auto Expo 2018. Recently the details of the same have leaked in internet world revealing that the Nexon will be equipped with six speed AMT transmission system enriched with Kick Down feature designed to offer smooth driving experience at the highway. Mechanically the AMT Nexon will be equipped with the same engine configuration of 1.2 litre Revotron petrol and 1.5 litre Revotorq diesel engine and reported to deliver the fuel efficient performance.
