Volkswagen Virtus Anniversary Edition Gets New Features
August 6, 2026: Volkswagen has launched the Virtus Anniversary Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 19.20 lakh. Based on the top-spec GT Plus Sport variant, the special edition is limited to just 150 units. It gets an exclusive Avocado Pearl exterior shade, a black roof, black alloy wheels, red brake callipers and sporty cosmetic enhancements. The cabin features an all-black theme with gloss-black elements and additional equipment such as a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and puddle lamps. Power comes from the 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Volkswagen Virtus Ready For Launch, Reaches Dealerships
May 16, 2022: The German carmaker Volkswagen is all set to launch its new compact sedan Virtus in the Indian car market on June 9, 2022. The company has already despatched the compact sedan to its dealerships across the country for preview, pre-booking, and test drive. It is developed on the India specific MQB A0-IN platform under the company’s 2.0 project. It will receive two engine options, including 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI engine.
