July 27, 2022: Volvo India, the Indian alliance of Swedish carmaker Volvo has launched the electric SUV XC 40 Recharge in the Indian car market with a price tag of Rs 59.90 lakh (ex-showroom price). It is the first electric SUV in the segment that will deliver an average of 400 km on a single charge. It will be powered by a 78 kWh battery. It will charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 33 minutes with the help of 150 kW DC fast charging.
