54 New Touchpoints Established By Nissan Motors
The Japanese car maker Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has established 54 new customer touchpoints across the country during the first quarter of calendar year 2026. This strategic expansion aims to enhance accessibility and strengthen the brand’s sales and service network nationwide. The newly opened touchpoints include a combination of 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts), 2S, and 1S facilities. These outlets have been established under a planned strategy in different cities to strengthen Nissan's hold and improve customer reach in both urban and emerging markets.

Speaking on the development, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, said, “The expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey”. He also added that expanding network has always been an important pillar of Nissan’s broader product offensive strategy strengthening its presence and enhancing customer experience. He also highlighted that the company is ready to expand its product portfolio with the launch of the all-new Nissan GRAVITE, followed by upcoming models such as the Nissan TEKTON and a new C-segment 7-seater SUV. He speculates that with the ongoing success being enjoyed by Magnite and the upcoming launches will play a vital role in pushing the growth of the carmaker in the Indian car market.
According to sources, the newly established touchpoints are in line with Nissan’s global retail standards and are equipped with modern infrastructure. Technicians working in these centres are professionally trained to provide robust solutions to customer issues. With the expansion of this expansion, Nissan is also witnessing strong momentum in the Indian market. In March 2026, the company recorded the cumulative sales of 10,388 units, including domestic wholesales of 4,408 units. The figure of domestic wholesale performance is the best performance by the company in the past five years. This represents a notable growth of 98 percent. Additionally, exports accounted for 5,980 units during the same period.
The improved performance of Nissan represents the success of its strengthened product lineup and expanding network presence. The company remains committed to increasing its customer touchpoints to 400 by the end of FY2027, reinforcing its long-term investment strategy in India. The newly added touchpoints are established in key cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Jaipur, Indore, and several other emerging markets across the country.
