75,000 bookings received by Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the first ever compact sedan by Indo-Japanese car maker has emerged as a fruitful product for car maker. The success of Vitara Brezza can be understood from the fact that since its launch it has received more than 75,000 bookings and has so far sold out 20,000 units of compact sedan across the country. According to reports the waiting period of vehicle falls between seven to nine months. The reports from company sources reveal that to cater the problem of long waiting period company plants to increase the production capacity of Vitara Brezza from one lakh to 1.2 lakh.
The success of Vitara Brezza could also be understood from fact within period of two months after its launch it has succeeded in surpassing the dominating compact SUV’s in Indian car market and second best selling compact SUV in the month of April. The company sold out 5,563 units of Vitara Brezza in the month of March 2016 and 7,832 units during the month of April 2016.
The compact SUV is launched in diesel variant which is empowered with 200 DDiS, 1248cc engine that boosts the power of 88.5 bhp and torque 200Nm and mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. It has been tuned to deliver an average of 24.3 kmpl and is available in seven trims namely LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ (O).
