After witnessing sluggish sales in the global market, the British luxury sports car maker Aston Martin eyes to clock good sales in India. The company forayed in the domestic market a tad late as compared to its rivals but the company still feels that it can make a mark in the Indian car market. One of the company official stated that the company’s weak sales in the US and Europe market has been the reason behind the snail paced sales of the company. The company eyes a strong presence in around 160 to 170 locations which also include Mumbai and Delhi. Five years back in 2007, the company posted strong sales of 7,000 units which dropped to 4,200 units in 2010 followed by 2011.
