Audi Launches Q3 SUV with 1.4 litre TFSI Petrol Engine
Finally the German luxurious car maker Audi has launched the petrol version of its SUV Q3 in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 32.30 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The petrol variant is enriched with 1.4 litre TFSI engine and joins the bandwagon of diesel variant that is empowered with 2.0 litre TDI engine. The worth mentioning feature that differentiates between both the vehicles is their driving options, where the diesel variant is offered with option of front wheel drive and Quattro options, the petrol version is available only with front wheel driving facility.
The newly introduced 1.4 litre TFSI four cylinder engine is also offered in the generation next A4 and also in facelift A3 sedan and cabriolet. The engine is tuned to produce the power of 148 bhp and torque of 250Nm and is mated with six speed S-Tronic automatic transmission system. The petrol variant is reported to sprint the speed from standstill to 100 kmph in the span of 8.9 seconds and will offer and fuel efficient performance of 16.9 kmpl. Now after launch in Indian car market it will compete against Mercedes-Benz GLA and BMW X1.
Talking about the changes that have been introduced in new Audi Q3 petrol variant includes slightly upgraded front and rear bumpers, LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, LED DRLs, and 17 inch alloy wheels on the exterior. Inside the cabin it receives leather upholstery, ambient lighting system, Audi music system that supports connectivity with Bluetooth and various functions. On the safety front it is equipped with six airbags, hill start and hill descent assist system, ESP, ABS, cruise control and few more.
