Audi launches S4 sports sedan in India at Rs 45.31 lakh

Audi India eventually launched the Audi S4 sedan in India, as the company hinted during the launch of Audi A4 in India in the month of May 2012. Audi India today launched the Audi S4 sports sedan without any brouhaha, Audi S4 price starts at Rs 45.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra. Inside the sedan will reside a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine that engenders a staggering 335 PS of power and a peak torque of 440 Nm. The engine is harmonized to a seven speed S-tronic gearbox. The car will be befitted with a 245/40-R18 rubber that will help the sedan propel from 0 to 100 km/h in less time than 5 seconds with a restrained top end whack of 250 km/h. According to ARAI, the Audi S4 3.0 TFSI sports sedan can run 10.34 kmpl.

The sports sedan is up for grabs effective today in India across 19 dealerships which also includes the one that was inaugurated recently in Coimbatore, Delhi West, Nagpur and another dealership which the company recently opened in Madhya Pradesh Bhopal. The Audi S4 price is tempting and is expected to attract a lot of buyers.

The company before bringing the sports sedan to India did a survey through social networking sites and got a huge response from the customers across the nation, hence the company decided to launch this sedan in India. The company also initiated ‘Vote for S4’ campaign on the popular social networking websites. Audi which recently grabbed the second spot in the luxury segment now eyes to reach the numero uno position which is currently occupied by BMW in India. Audi is a popular brand and has been offering new products, which lures the customers to the showrooms; let us see what else the company has in its kitty for the Indian car market for the year 2012.
