Audi Q7 production starts in India

Audi is doing every bit to make itself well established in the Indian car bazaar and it has actually been quite successful in doing the same. Recently, the company began the production of its luxurious and very posh SUV, Audi Q7 at the Aurangabad manufacturing Plant located in Maharashtra. Apparently, the company will manufacture a whopping 1000 units of Q7 every year that would be sold in the Indian car bazaar. Audi Q7 is the fourth car by Audi that is being locally produced in the country.

The company says that the local producing of this premium and lavish SUV is actually a part of its long-term growth plan in India as Indian car bazaar is one of the most flourishing one. The new plant in Aurangabad is well-equipped with everything, such as skilled labour, high technology machines, resourceful working procedures, and much more. These will assist the company to pep-up the production and come out with great quality product that the firm is known for.

Localizing Audi Q7 means that the company will add on more convenience for the aspiring car consumers. The waiting period will surely come down and more variants will be up on offer we guess! The Indian consumers are certainly being drifting towards more luxury and going for Audi cars and this has lead to the high demand for cars like Audi Q3, Q5 and now Q7. If we take the figures into account, Audi has substantially amplified its sales by 55% in India, which means it is going quite high on the graph.

Even the company is working on its dealership network, which means it is trying to build a very strong and steady network that would help it to hike-up its sales. Apparently, the car maker aim to have 25 dealerships across India by the end of 2012.

Hummm it will be relief-full for this luxury car enthusiasts. Right now Audi Q7 price seems unaffordable but after assembling in India it will be cheaper than competitors.
