Auto Expo 2012 starts tomorrow
The biggest event in auto domain - The Auto Expo 2012 is all set to begin tomorrow. This weeklong congregation will begin on January 5 and will continue till January 11 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Around 824 auto companies from India and the world will display their products at the grand event. Over 50 car launches and unveils are scheduled to take place at the seven-day event and in order to maintain order and a plausible experience, the visitors entry has been restricted to one lakh persons on a day.

It is at the Auto Expo that Cars, SUVs, MUVs, commercial vehicles, Two-wheelers, Hybrids, Electric Vehicles and special vehicles will be launched and showcased. Besides, there will be an array of automobile accessories, components and spare parts will also be displayed at the Auto Show.

January 5 and January 6 have been kept as media days while the show will be open to general public on January 7 and January 8. The premium visiting hours have been restricted from 10am to 1pm and from this time to 7pm will be the general hours. For weekends the whole day from 10am to 7pm will be general hours. The entry to Auto Expo 2012 has been restricted strictly through tickets or invitation only.

Taking a close look at the layout of the Auto Expo 2012, it is revealed that the field has been divided into two sections- one for the vehicles and other will be for the exhibition of components and accessories. Thus for those who are there for cars must watch out for these pavilions. In all, the Auto Expo 2012 will be a launch pad for new and future vehicles besides being a showcase spot for existing automobile products and technologies.
