Facelift Mercedes Benz B Class launched in Indian car market
German luxurious car marker Mercedes Benz today launched the facelift version of its luxurious hatchback B Class in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 27.95 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). Prior to this car maker had showcased the same version during Paris Motor held last year. The hatchback has undergone comprehensive cosmetic changes on both exterior and interior ends. However under the bonnet it will continue the same engine configurations in both petrol and diesel trims which means petrol trim would be empowered with 1.6 litre engine while the diesel continues 2.2 litre diesel engine. The former engine churns the power 120 bhp and torque of 200 Nm, while the later boosts the power of 136 bhp and torque of 300 Nm. The engines are mated with seven speed DCT.
Talking about the cosmetic changes on exterior front hatchback now receives newly developed LED headlamps at front fascia followed by new tail lamps at rear portion. Apart from this it also offers the option of selecting sporty wheels or regular wheels with minute changes. On the interior front the facelift B Class receives new steering wheel carried from C Class, reverse camera, armrest with USB interface, 12 color ambient light system, updated COMMAND system with larger screen. Apart from these features the facelift also offers additional accessories like Garmin Plug and Play Sat Nav as optional accessories.
