Fiat launches Abarth Punto Evo and Avventura, priced Rs. 9.95 (ex-showroom price)
Fiat India, the Indian alliance of Italian car maker Fiat today launched two of its products from Abarth portfolio namely Punto Evo and Avventura in Indian car market both priced Rs. 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Both the hatchbacks have been offered with 1.4 litre turbocharged T-Jet petrol engine boosting the power of 145 bhp and 140 bhp respectively. Mated with five speed manual gear transmission system the Punto is capable of hitting the mark of 100 kmph in 8.8 seconds followed by Avventura which touches the mark of 100 kmph in 9.9 seconds.
Talking about the features adorned in Abarth Punto Evo it consists of body decals, scorpion badge on the front fascia and on bootlid, followed by fascinating color treatment and 16 inch wheels. On the other side the Abarth Avventura continues the same existing appearance except display of “Powered by Abarth” logo.
The interiors receive black colored treatment along with yellow and red color stitching on seats enhancing the sportier look of Evo hatchback. Moving ahead with an objective to offer comfort driving experience to buyers the height of car has been lowered by 20mm and has been offered with bunch of various safety measures like disc brakes, and ABS+EBD as standard features on both cars. It is reported that Punto Evo and Avventura will deliver fuel efficient performance of 16.8 kmpl and 17.1 kmpl respectively.
