First Images Of Tata Nexon Facelift Revealed Online
The compact SUV Nexon, from the domestic car maker Tata Motors has been one of the best vehicles launched in the recent years. Encouraged from the success enjoyed by the regular version of the compact SUV, the company recently unveiled its EV variant in the global market last month. Besides, this the company is also working on bringing its facelift version, and according to reports the spies have seen the prototype being tested for several times on Indian roads. Now finally the spies have succeeded in capturing the first glimpse of the facelift Tata Nexon being tested on the Indian roads. According to the images shared by spies on the various portals, the facelift Nexon will undergo major cosmetic updates followed by existing engine configuration under petrol and diesel variants. Both the engines are said to be BS-VI compliant.
On the basis of the images captured by the spies, the Tata Nexon 2020 looks identical to Nexon EV. On the front fascia it will embellish the features like new bumper, set of new headlmaps, fog lamps, front grille, and new muscular front bonnet. The grille installed at the front fascia receives more sleek treatment, whereas the headlamps and DRLs are similar to one installed in the Harrier SUV. Besides, this the Nexon 2020 is developed strictly according to the new pedestrian standards that will come in effect from October 2020.
Under hood, it will be equipped with the same existing 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engines, which of-course will be in accordance to BS-VI compliant. The transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual and six-speed AMT transmission system. It is believed to be priced almost Rs. 50,000/-higher that its existing price tag.
