Hyundai Introduces New 1.4 Litre Variant In Petrol Line-up Of Verna
Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has introduced one more engine configuration in the line up of is luxurious sedan Verna, which till now was available in 1.6 litre engine configuration in both petrol and diesel variants. The newly introduced 1.4 litre engine has been launched in the petrol variant and offered in E and EX trims and priced Rs. 7.79 lakh and 9.09 lakh respectively. Prior to this the car maker had launched the next generation of Verna back in August 2017 and succeeded in receiving an over whelming response from the Indian car buyers.

The newly introduced engine is capable of boosting the power of 99 bhp and the torque of 132 Nm and mated with six speed manual gear transmission system. It is said that this version of Verna is the mix blend of performance and style merged in one unit. It is reported to deliver an average of 19.1 kmpl which is about eight percent more than the existing average of its next generation.
Talking about the new Verna Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Director-Sales & Marketing, HMIL said, "The Next Gen VERNA is a super sedan and has established its supremacy in the market since its launch in August 2017.
