Indian Auto Expo 2016: Facelift Renault Duster caught camouflaged, ready for unveil
Name of Renault Duster by French car maker Renault is considered as trend setter in compact SUV segment of Indian car market setting new dimensions for other compact SUV manufacturers. Launched almost five years back in 2011 the compact SUV has undergone multiple cosmetic changes to keep it fresh among the Indian car enthusiasts. It is now reported that car maker is going to bring the refreshed version of this best selling compact SUV during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2016 and interestingly spies have succeeded in capturing the images of generation next Duster in its camouflaged version.
Mechanically the Duster 2016 will continue the existing engine of 1.5 litre dCi engine boosting two tunes of 84 bhp and 108 bhp power and mated with five speed and six speed manual gear transmission system. Now coming towards cosmetic changes that will make the new Duster look distinctive from existing version will include single plated grille regardless of multi plated front grille. The headlamp cluster remains unchanged but receives new housing place for head lamp and turn indicators. Moving ahead the front and rear bumpers receive subtle changes. The side profile receives newly developed dark colored alloy wheels followed by minute changes on the rear portion which will definitely comprise of new tail lamps.
Inside the cabin it will embellish new dashboard and refreshed upholstery, continuing the ongoing seven inch Media NAV infotainment system and cruise control system. It is also rumored that generation next Renault Duster might get AMT system along with manual gear transmission system. After showcasing the refreshed Duster during Auto Expo 2016 company will launch it by the end of May and beginning of June this year.
