Indian Auto Expo 2016: Tata Motors might launch Hexa crossover

With year 2016 knocking the doors, car makers across the world have started making their preparations for Indian Auto Expo slated to be held in 2016. According to recent industry reports domestic car maker Tata Motors is speculating to bring the refreshed version of Aria in form of a crossover to be named as Hexa. The crossover was for first time showcased during Geneva Motor Show and since then it has been undergoing examination and getting ready for its launch during Indian Auto Expo 2016.

Under the bonnet crossover will receive 2.2 litre four cylinder VARICOR diesel engine that in turn will develop the power of 154 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. It will be mated with six speed manual gear transmission system and might also be introduced with six speed automatic transmission system in top end trims. Promoted as the upgraded version Aria, new Hexa Crossover will carry the length of 4,764mm, width of 1,895mm and height of 1,780mm followed by wheelbase of 2,850 mm.
 
Talking about the features that would be embellished on the exteriors will include ORVM with mounted turn indicators, skid plates and body cladding across the crossover, newly developed tail lamps and enlarged air dam. Inside the cabin you will find features like LED illumination, six airbags, and leather seats. Once launched in Indian car market it will compete against Lodgy MPV from Renault and Innova from Toyota.
