Mahindra Renault Logan, now Mahindra Verito the best entry level sedan
The joint venture of Indian M & M (Mahindra& Mahindra) with French car manufacturer Renault found it difficult to survive the challenges of the Indian market and they split after five years. Mahindra now changes the name of the car from Logan to Verito, named after the Latin name VERITAS which means truth.

M&M plans to replace the Renault Logo Apart from this Mahindra has given a few cosmetic changes to Verito’s exteriors as well as interiors. The exteriors will get a new sporty and fleshy look, with excellent mileage and sturdy look, totally the man’s sedan. The Mahindra Verito is a car for mature man with masculine machine. The powerful engine assures you strong and balanced performance.Verito variants are available in a 1.4 petrol multi point fuel injection (MPFI) engine and 1.5 Diesel common rail direct fuel injection (CRDI) engine. The petrol variant will be priced at INR 4, 82 lakhs Ex-showroom and Diesel variant will be priced at INR 5.62 Lakhs Ex-showroom with both the prices being effective across India.

Mahindra & Mahindra knows the Indian market and used its marketing strategy to make its first sedan Verito successful in the Indian market; the sales have been increased by 50% in the month of June 2011. Mahindra & Mahindra ensures Logan now Verito, the c segment sedan does not fail again.
