Mahindra Thar Roxx Receives Subtle But Impressive Features
Since its launch, the Mahindra Thar Roxx, the younger sibling of the premium SUV Thar, has taken buyers across the country by storm. The SUV is liked for its rugged capability and modern convenience. To offer more convenience and comfort to passengers, the domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has slightly updated the 2025 Thar Roxx with three additional features. These recent updates are expected to further grab the attention of prospective buyers.

One of the most notable updates is the addition of keyless entry. This feature was missing in the existing version of the Roxx. The integration of the new feature will directly enhance the convenience of buyers, making the Thar Roxx more user-friendly.
The second update introduced in Roxx is the integration of the passenger-side front armrest with a sliding function, mirroring the driver-side armrest for improved comfort. This update although at the first instance sounds quite minor, will surely enhance the overall ergonomics, particularly for long drives.
The third and most notable update comes in the form of aerodynamic wipers. These wipers are designed to reduce wind noise inside the cabin. The integration of this update aims to provide more quitter atmosphere inside the cabin, especially at high speeds.
A Feature-Rich SUV: Apart from these new updates, the Mahindra Thar Roxx continues to come with a combination of awesome features including dual 10.25-inch digital screens, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Other major features include a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, and a cooled glovebox.
On the safety front, the SUV comes equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, disc brakes on all wheels, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
Pricing & Rivals: Priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 23.09 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), the Thar Roxx is in direct competition with Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Force Gurkha 5-door in the growing segment of rugged, adventure-ready SUVs. With these new feature additions, Mahindra aims to make the Thar Roxx an even more compelling choice for both urban and off-road enthusiasts.
