With an objective to keep the XEV 9e fresh in front of prospective buyers, the domestic car maker Mahindra has added a new Satin Desert Myst colour option in its 9e Cineluxe Edition. The existing version of the Cineluxe Edition was available in Satin White and Satin Black options, with the new colour option, Mahindra gives buyers another exclusive colour choice while retaining the SUV's luxurious character. 

 

 

The Satin Desert Myst finish has been designed to enhance the coupe-SUV's sculpted styling, highlighting its bold character lines and premium road presence. Unlike conventional glossy paint, the satin finish delivers a refined appearance that complements the flagship positioning of the Cineluxe Edition. Inside the cabin, the XEV 9e Cineluxe continues to offer an upscale experience with its exclusive Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black leatherette upholstery. Mahindra has focused on improving cabin materials, textures and overall craftsmanship, creating a more luxurious ambience for occupants. 

 

The feature list remains unchanged. The electric SUV comes equipped with a triple-screen panoramic dashboard setup comprising a digital driver's display, central infotainment touchscreen and a dedicated passenger display. Other premium highlights include a panoramic sunroof, premium audio system, ventilated seats, connected car technology, wireless smartphone connectivity and Level 2+ ADAS safety features.  Powertrain specifications also remain identical. The XEV 9e Cineluxe is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack that delivers strong performance along with a claimed driving range of over 500 km under real-world conditions. The SUV supports fast DC charging, allowing users to recharge the battery quickly during long journeys. 

 

Mahindra has not revised the pricing of the Cineluxe Edition despite the introduction of the new colour. The model continues to be priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), making the Satin Desert Myst finish a no-cost aesthetic upgrade for customers seeking a more distinctive look. 

With the addition of Satin Desert Myst, the Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is now available in three exclusive satin finishes—Satin White, Satin Black and Satin Desert Myst. The latest update further strengthens the SUV's premium positioning by offering buyers greater personalization without altering its features or performance.
