Mercedes Benz B Class facelift: Curtain to rise on March 11, 2015
According to reports the curtains of facelift Mercedes Benz B Class would be taken off by German luxurious car maker on March 11, 2015, reports also reveal that the new features added would be best in the segment and will further strengthen the position of this luxurious hatchback in Indian car market. Under the hood B class facelift will continue with existing engine configurations of 1.6 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder petrol engine and 2.2 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder diesel engine. The former engine churns the power of 108 bhp and torque of 250 Nm, while the later boosts the power of 120 bhp and torque of 200 Nm.
The changes that would be offered on the exterior will include new set of bumpers on both front and rear portions, newly developed large air dam, and new front headlamps. On the rear portion apart from new rear bumper the facelift will bestow new taillights followed by chrome finishing at the rear portion. On the interiors it will embellish features like multi functional steering wheel, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system and ambient lighting. The hatchback would be offered with dual clutch seven speed automatic transmission system and would be carried in Indian car market through completely built in unit (CBU).
