Mercedes Benz C Class 2014 prototype spotted

The German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz is doing a lot of hard work to leave behind other renowned luxury car brands like Audi and BMW. Earlier, there was a buzz in the auto-industry that the car maker is testing the revamped Mercedes Benz S Class and Mercedes Benz C Class prototypes. Recently, in the European sub-continent, the next generation prototype of Mercedes Benz C Class was spotted undergoing the cold weather tests. It is expected that the next generation C Class would be launched by 2013 end or by 2014.  

The C-Class 2014 would be slightly wider than its current variant and is expected to carry headlamps resembling to another Mercedes luxury saloon, Mercedes Benz CLS Class. Moreover, it is being bruited that this revamped avatar of C-Class would be boosted by a new four cylinder power-train which would enable the engine to work on only 2 cylinders when lesser churning capacity is required. The revamped variants of BMW 3 Series have already been launched and it would be quite interesting to see how better 2014 Mercedes-Benz C – Class competes with the new BMW 3 Series.   

In India, the current C- Class is available in 7 exciting variants, i.e. three variants powered by 1.8 liter petrol engine, one variant powered by 6.2 liter petrol variant and three variants of 2.2 liter diesel engine. It would interesting to see what additional features the company adds in this car, what fuel efficiency it would hold and the most important view would be, at what price 2014 C-Class would be tagged.  

Mercedes Benz India has got 12 fabulous cars models currently available in the domestic auto market which include; the C Class, the E Class, the CL Class, the CLS Class, the G Class, the GL Class, the M Class, the R Class, the S Class, the SLK Class and the SLS Class. Recently, Mercedes Benz India launched its alluring premium crossover, New Mercedes Benz M Class SUV and SLS AMG roadster at the Auto Expo Delhi, 2012.
