New Premier Rio launched at Auto Expo
Premier Automobiles Limited (PAL) has unveiled refreshed version of India’s first compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Premier Rio at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The 2012 Premier Rio is offered with new crystal clear and broader headlamps along with newly designed grille in the front together with rear spoiler at the back that makes it look sportier than before. The mini SUV is presented with three engine choices with two in diesel the one of new petrol. The New Premier Rio (petrol entry-level variant) is tagged at the price of INR 4.7 Lakh going up to INR 6.35 Lakh for top variant. A competitor is ready for to be launched compact crossover Ford EcoSport.

The three engines of Premier Rio are 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel, which will be available from this month onwards at company outlets, whereas the frugal 1.3L Multi-jet will hit the showrooms by April 2012. The new 1.2L petrol engine is able enough to produce an output of 77 PS. While the diesel motor of 1.5L indirect injection diesel engine generates 65 PS of maximum power combined with decent fuel economy along with a Fiat sourced 1.3L Multi-jet diesel engine will now power the compact SUV.

The boxy headlamps of earlier Premier Rio are replaced by bigger and cornering headlamps at the frontage along with stylish grille gripping company emblem and new circular fog lamps at the two corners of wide bumper. The compact off-roader has OVRMs with turn indicators and a tough roof rail together with spare wheel at the rear with tail lights that seem inspired from premium SUV Ford Endeavour. The roomy interiors are shaded with light-colored beige combined with new features at the dashboard. The top end version comes loaded with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), 5-spoked alloy wheels and sport key-less entry.

I think that rio with multijet engine is a great choice.it will provide u a suv in price of ahatchback car and an awesome milage almost 19 kmpl
