Next generation Skoda Superb will be an eye opener
Dr.Winfried Vahland, Chairman of Czech auto giant has Skoda Motors has said that the new Skoda Superb will be miles ahead from its ancestors in terms of performance and looks. According to him the new Skoda Superb will be developed on MQB platform of German car maker Volkswagen and about 50% of its parts will be similar to one integrated in Passat from Volkswagen. In simple it words it can be said that new Skoda Superb will play a significant role in strengthening roots of the company more strongly in Indian car market.
According to sources of company of generation next Superb will be a surprise packages and will undoubtedly host the flag of company successfully for next decade. The new Skoda Superb will be launched in both saloon and estate versions. It is reported that with an objective of making its vehicles light weighted and increasing their fuel consumption company is working intensively on introduction of new technology, and as the result of which this time it will empower new Superb with four cylinder V6 engine.
It would be interested to know that Superb dominates the D segment of cars in Indian car market and its contenders like Nissan Teana, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, Passat from Volkswagen, and with new Skoda Superb it is expected that this trend will continue for longer period. Although company has not revealed any information regarding the launch date of new Superb but it is expected that company will launch the facelift Superb sometimes in the beginning of next year 2015.
