Refreshed Toyota Innova revealed through Video
Couple of days back images of Generation Next Innova wererevealed through leaked brochure. For the first time Japanese automaker Toyota Motors have officially uncovered pictures for the same and a video highlighting the outstanding features offered in its new avatar, ahead of its global launch scheduled on November 23, 2015. It is reported to be showcased during upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2016.
The redesigned MPV will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be powered by 2000cc VVT-I four-cylinder petrol engine that boosts the power of 137bhp and a torque of 183Nm mated with both automatic and manual gearbox, whereas the diesel trim of 2.5-liter KD engine will be replaced with 2.4-liter GD diesel engine that churns the power of 147bhp and a peak torque of 359Nm mated with manual transmission. The diesel trim will also be accessible in an automatic transmission system with same engine configuration churning the same power with less torque of 342.2 Nm.
Now talking about the changes which refreshed MPV receives in its new disguise are: stunning front grille, Q shaped LED projector headlamp, outer mirror furnished with welcome light, chrome garnish on the back door and reflectors, sporty side moulding, shark fin antenna, Q type smart entry key with immobilizer and dark gray dual tone alloy wheels. In the interiors 2016 Generation Next Innova gets spacious cabin which can accommodate 8 persons with captain seat functionality for second row and one touch easy space up for third row. Apart from this it gets Q type engine start stop system, V and Q type LED display, leather & wood finish steering wheel and 8 inch infotainment system integrated with miracast, DLNA, air gesture, web browser and voice command. In terms of safety the car comes equipped with dual SRS airbags and Anti lock braking system.
