Renault Clio GT version revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Renault has unveiled the GT version of Clio at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2013 that commenced recently. This new GT version will fill the slot between basic trim of Renault Clio and the high end version of the hatchback. At the same motor show the company has displayed Renault Captur, Duster, 2014 Renault Kangoo ZE and Renault Scenic Xmod. However, the Captur has attracted maximum eyeballs and this concept car has been appreciated by each and every visitor of the show.

GT version of Clio has a reworked bumper with larger air vents, also LED DRLs are affixed on the bumper that differentiates it from the base and high end trims. The front grille looks sharper and has a huge resemblance with that of the RS version. Door trims, darkened headlamps, 17-inch alloys with 205/45 R17 tires, twin chrome pipes and a rear diffuser are some of the features that are offered on the GT version.

The GT version is packed with a 1.2 litre four cylinder turbocharged petrol mill which belts out 120 Hp and 190 Nm. The engine is synchronized to a 6 speed transmission. The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds and touches the top speed of 199 km/h. Renault Clio GT version has a fuel consumption of 5.2 litres/100 km in the combined cycle and 120 g/km CO2 emissions.
