Selling fast! Maruti Suzuki Brezza Clocks 4 lakh plus sales!
Happy customers Happy Company! Maruti Suzuki announces with pride that cumulative sales of its Vitara Brezza has set new records in the compact SUV segment and crossed 4 lakh units mark in the last 3 years.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza which has been an unchallenged leader in its segment has now clocked 4 lakh sales milestone in the Indian market. This compact urban utility vehicle that has been on sale for three years now compounds a market share of over 44 %. With a sales growth of seven percent, the monthly average sales work out to 14,675 units. This is despite the fact that it retails with just diesel derivative in its portfolio.
The said engine is a 1.3-litre unit capable of churning out 88 BHP of power along with 200 Nm peak torque. It is paired as standard to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The AMT version of Vitara Brezza was introduced in the Indian market last year only and according to the makers, this AMT version accounds for about 20percent of the total sales of this compact SUV in India.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza falls in-between the price range of INR 7.67 lakhs to INR 10.64 lakhs. The major competitors of Vitara Brezza are Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the recently launched Mahindra XUV300.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes up with exclusive features such as projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, touchscreen infotainment system with Android auto and Apple Car Play, rear parking camera with sensors and many others. This vehicle also has inside a safety kit that includes dual airbags with ABS and EBD along with rear parking sensors and high-speed alert system.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce a petrol variant of Breeza soon. Also the 1.3-litre, DDiS unit will be replaced with a new in-house developed 1.5-litre motor.
