Skoda Octavia Back in India at Rs 56.69 Lakh
Škoda Auto India has returned the performance focused Octavia RS to India with a second limited batch of only 50 cars. The Octavia RS is priced at Rs 56.69 lakh (ex showroom) which's Rs 6.70 lakh higher than the first batch that cost Rs 49.99 lakh. The first batch of 100 cars sold out before the Octavia RS was officially launched in India last year.

Powerful 2.0 Litre Turbo Petrol Engine
The Octavia RS runs on a 2.0 litre four cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine that delivers 265 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. The engine works with a DSG automatic gearbox sending power to the front wheels. Škoda says the Octavia RS can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and its top speed is capped at 250 km/h by the computer. The Octavia RS also has steering, a sports suspension, a chassis tuned for performance and a sports exhaust that make driving more engaging.
Sporty Exterior Design
The Octavia RS has style features that set it apart from the regular Octavia. It has Matrix LED headlights, LED tail lamps with dynamic turn signals, black trim, RS badges and 19 inch alloy wheels. For the batch the Octavia RS comes in Mamba Green, Velvet Red or Magic Black. Even though the Octavia RS is a performance car its liftback holds 600 litres in the boot. The boot can grow to 1,555 litres when the rear seats are folded.
Premium and Feature Rich Cabin
Inside the Octavia RS the cabin is black and sporty with accents and Suedia leather seats. The sports seats in the Octavia RS can be switched electrically. They have memory, heating and massage. The Octavia RS also has an instrument panel, a 13 inch infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay three zone climate control, wireless charging and an 11 speaker Canton audio system with a subwoofer. Safety and driver assist equipment includes 10 airbags, a 360 degree camera, a head up display, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist and Intelligent Park Assist.
Deliveries to Begin Next Week
Škoda has started taking bookings for the batch and the Octavia RS will be delivered from next week. This limited release is a milestone for the Octavia, which's now 30 years old and for the RS badge, which has over five decades of history. The Octavia RS keeps performance and everyday practicality and it stands out among performance sedans that Indian buyers can choose.. Because only 50 Octavia RS cars are available and the price is higher, than before buyers who want one need to move fast.
