Skoda Reveals Octavia vRS Before the Geneva Motor Show
Czech car maker Skoda has took off the covers from the vRS version of its best selling luxurious sedan Octavaia ahead of its launch during the Geneva Motor Show to be organized during the next month. Christened as Skoda Octavia vRS 245, revealing the power of 245 PS or 242 bhp generated by it, the new version of Octavia is empowered with 2.0 litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of 6.6 seconds followed by the top notch of 250 kmph. The transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual gear and also with an option of seven speed DSG transmission system.
The Skoda Octavia vRS245 hosts bunch of cosmetic updates on both the exterior and interior front. On the front fascia it receives completely new treatment in form of newly developed front bumper along with enlarged front grille. The front also receives new headlamp cluster with LED lights. Inside the cabin it adorns Alcantara Sport Seats, black color treatment, multi functional steering wheel with paddleshifts and aluminium pedals. Along with these features it also get LED torch in the boot, dual USB ports, facility of personalising the key and heated steering wheel. With all these features the sedan will embellish plethora of drive assistance system as additional incentives.
Finally the last but not the least inside the cabin you will also find newly developed 9.2 inch infotainment system with navigation and also the feature of Skoda Connect App that will facilitate the passenger to get their smartphones connected with the car.
