Skoda to add Rapid Active Plus and Rapid Ambition Plus models

The festive spirit is in the air and car makers are aggressively preparing their cars for the only savior car buying. It is expected that the car buying during Diwali will pick up and it will recoup the sales loss that the car industry had due to various factors. One of the car maker Skoda is also making its Rapid car more likable than ever. The car maker will launch the Skoda Rapid Ambition Plus and Skoda Rapid Active Plus. This is Similar to what Volkswagen did to Polo and Vento cars by launching the feature rich models at the same price of the standard model. However, unlike VW, Skoda has added them as new models and thus these will be there giving car buyers an array of choices.

The two model additions – Rapid Ambition Plus and Rapid Active Plus have brought with them an array of features as well. Notably the Rapid Active variant is already there and the Plus model has many added features making the car studded with features. The Active Plus variant has a remote controlled boot lid and doors, foldable key, electrically operated and foldable outside rear view mirrors. Like the standard models, the Active Plus will also be available in diesel and petrol versions. However, Skoda has provided an option to have either the five speed manual gearbox or the six speed automatic gearbox in the Active Plus.

The Ambition Plus variant on the other hand has a lot of features in addition to the features present on the Ambition variant. Chrome work on the AC vents, child proof window locking, audio player locking system, one touch opening and closing of windows, display unit which is larger in size than the Ambition model and a lot of other features that altogether make the Skoda Rapid a must buy car in the segment.
