Spies Capture The Images Of AMT Mahindra XUV300 Undergoing TVC Shoot
After the successful launch of compact SUV XUV300 in the Indian car market in the month of February this year, domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra is getting ready to launch its AMT version by the end of this month. Recently, the spies captured the images of same during a TVC shoot. It is reported that AMT version will be offered only in W6 and W8 trims. The unit used for the TVC seems to be W8 trim. According to reports the AMT grearbox that would be installed in the XUV300 AMT will be purchased from Magnetti Marelli.
This purchase will however for the limited period, mainly till 2020, after the company will introduce six-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox followed by the introduction of BS-VI compliant vehicles. Physically the AMT XUV300 is identical to its standard version, except the autoSHIFT logo studded at the rear portion. The other features like dual tone roof rails, LED tail-lamps, 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, projector headlamps and other exterior elements remain unchanged.
On the interior front it will be equipped with electric sunroof, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation system and supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the safety front it will be equipped with seven airbags, ESP, disc brakes for both front and rear wheels and front parking sensors.
As far as engine configuration is concerned that will an option of 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine boosting the power of 110 PS and 115 PS followed by the torque of 200Nm and 300Nm respectively. Speaking about the price tag it is speculated to be priced Rs. 50,000 more than its standard version.
