Ssangyong Korando Turismo launched
Korean arm of Mahindra India – Ssangyong has yet again proved that it has got new lease of life after the Indian SUV maker has taken over it. Writing one more success story, the car giant and Mahindra Rexton’s original manufacturer Ssangyong has launched the new Ssangyong Korando Turismo. The launch was in Korea and it is possible that Mahindra Korando launch in India will be hastened. Till now, the Mahindra owned Korean car brand has only one car in the country in the form of Rexton and it was expected to launch Korando since 2012. Meanwhile, the Rexton SUV has give impressive representation to Mahindra in the luxury SUV segment with some of the best possible sales numbers on the rise since its launch.
Korando Turismo is basically a multipurpose vehicle that has a seating capacity of eleven people. Since this car belongs to the premium segment, every inch inside has been given a premium look and every effort has been made to make the inside as comfortable as possible. And it means really comfortable as it is a matter of seating of 11 people in a single car. The seating arrangement is 2+3+3+3 and the rearmost seats are as comfortable as the second row. As this is a car that will be used for travel, it has been designed and changes have been made keeping an eye on the comfort of the occupants as this will highly impact its prospects in the segment.
The car is available in petrol and diesel engine options and it has two wheel drive and four wheel drive as well as all wheel drive options as well. Thus this becomes a prominent MPV that has all these options in place. The launch price of Korando Turismo is Rs 12.10 lakh in Indian currency and its top model has a price tag equivalent to 17.38 lakh. Thus, the MPV has very high prospects in India and Mahindra seems to be in the process of launching it soon in the country.
