Sterling Edition of Land Rover Freelander 2 launched, price Rs. 44.41 lakh (ex-showroom price)
With an objective to commemorate successful existence of its premium SUV Free Lander 2, for five years in Indian car market British car maker Land Rover has launched its Sterling Edition in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 44.41 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). The Sterling Edition continues the existing engine configuration of 2.2 litre Diesel engine mated with six speed automatic gearbox. The other features offered in this special edition includes 17 inches five spoke alloy wheels followed with anthracite finish, dark atlas fender, dark atlas grille and side vents. It also receives rear spoiler, lower door cladding followed by single tail pipe.
Addressing the launch event of Sterling Edition of Land Rover Free Lander 2, Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover India, said that their company is encouraged while launching the Sterling Edition of Free Lander 2. He also said that this new version of the premium SUV will succeed in grabbing the attention of young enthusiasts for its premium features and dynamic looks.
