Tata Indica eV2 diesel price for AC and PS variant declined by Rs 45K
Price for one of the most fuel efficient small cars in India, Tata Indica eV2 has been reduced by Rs 45,000. The country's number third largest car maker, Tata Motors has recently slashed the price for Air Conditioner and Power steering equipped BS IV variant of Indica eV2 diesel. Now Tata Indica eV2 price for BS IV variant starts from Rs 4.13 lakh while the price for BS III engine packed model variant has been tagged at Rs 3.87 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new Indica eV2 diesel is being offered in four variants LS BSIV, LX BS IV, LS BS III and LX BS III.
With this big cut on the eV2 price, Tata Motors seems to take on petrol engine powered small cars such as Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai Eon, Maruti Zen etc. Maruti Suzuki has recently launched the new features packed with facelifted next generation version of Wagon R for both petrol and CNG which offer the variants between Rs 3.62 lakh to Rs 4.46 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
At present, Tata Motors is making strategic plans to boost sales of its cars. It has also launched the powerful and fuel efficient D90 variant of premium hatchback Tata Indica Vista which is a tough challenger of diesel trims of Maruti Swift, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia and Hyundai i20. On the other hand, the Indian auto giant is reported to bring out the diesel engine model of small car Tata Nano very soon. Coming to eV2, it is expected to do well with this large price cut and decent mileage of 25 Kmpl.
