Tata Indica Xeta LPG launched in India
After observing a huge sales drift from the petrol engine cars, Tata now eyes the LPG section of the Indian Auto market and has recently launched the LPG version of its popular car, Tata Indica e-XETA. Some of the other cars like Chevrolet Beat, Maruti Wagon R are already providing the LPG services to the customers. Next to join the line will be Hyundai i10, whose LPG variant will be launched in the next month.
However talking about the international market, Volkswagen Polo Bi-Fuel was launched in the European market 15 months back and has gained a lot of popularity.
The all new version of Tata Indica e-XETA will be equipped with LPG option and will have features like power windows, remote keyless entry, music system with USB and many more top of the line accessories.
The company is launching 4 variants of the car, namely Tata Indica e-XETA GL, Tata Indica e-XETA GLE, Tata Indica e-XETA GLS and Tata Indica e-XETA GLX with a price range of Rs. 297,332 to 36,771.
Currently the BS3 version or the Tata Indica V2 LPG has gained much of the buyer attention in small towns and cities all over India.
The main reason for the popularity of the LPG cars is the rapid increase in the petrol rates which are pushing more and more buyers to choose those cars which have an option of LPG thus reducing the expenditure on fuel.
The only setback that the Tata Indica e-XETA has is its poor designing and as it is used by most of the taxi drivers all over India, thus it has an underprivileged image, bit it that sat aside, it is the best car when we consider fuel consumption and value for money.
