Tata Motors to develop its new vehicles on IMPACT design philosophy

According to recent reports domestic car maker Tata Motors will adopt new design philosophy for its forthcoming products. News regarding this was revealed by the sources of car maker saying the new design philosophy used by car maker is known as “IMPACT” referring to “Immediate IMPACT at first sight, Lasting IMPACT overtime”. The first vehicle to be developed on this philosophy would Zica hatchback slated for launch on January 20, 2016.

In the words of Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, "Today, the automakers are developing innovative technologies to cater to the needs of the new generation of customers. Design is among the key factors for car purchase decisions. Tata Motors recognizes this and presents IMPACT Design – as a key focus for the company's passenger vehicle strategy. The new, youthful, energetic and bold character of the passenger vehicles by Tata Motors is sure to make a lasting impact on our customers and on the Indian roads". According to Mr. Pratap Bose, Head of Design, Tata Motors, "You can either win or lose a potential customer within the first 20 seconds of them seeing a car. However, the customer stays with you based on the long-term experience they have with the product or service. IMPACT DESIGN is exactly about an Immediate and a Lasting Impact, Design has in our lives, and environment."

It is reported that native car maker is concentrating on intensive use of this design philosophy to lure the buyers. The vehicles developed on IMPACT design philosophy will embellish dynamic architecture which would be best in segment comprising of appropriate ratio between cabin and body. The interiors of upcoming cars from car maker will carry design philosophy similar to cockpit of an aircraft with new looks, high quality fabrics and spacious cabin.
