Tata to launch Zica finally on January 20, 2016
Tata Zica the hatchback from domestic car maker Tata Motors has already made its strong presence in minds of Indian car enthusiasts. The details pertaining with hatchback have been already disclosed by car maker except the price which is speculated to be disclosed by car maker at the time of its launch. Developed completely on new Xo platform the new hatchback will compete against Hyundai i10, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Chevrolet Beat. According to recent reports car maker is all set of launch the hatchback strictly on its scheduled date January 20, 2106.
To be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises enriched with 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol and 1.0 litre three cylinder diesel engine respectively mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. The petrol engine will boost the power of 83.8 bhp at 6000 rpm and torque of 114Nm at 3500 rpm followed by power of 69 bhp at 4000 rpm and torque between 1800 and 3000 rpm generated by diesel variant, the hatchback will be offered with multi driving system option namely Eco, City and Sport as offered in its predecessors Zest and Bolt.
The upcoming hatchback is reported to be embellished with bunch of various remarkable features inside the cabin which will include Harman Infotainment System supported with eight speakers, electronic ORVMs, steering mounted audio controls and cooled glove box. Apart from this the native car maker has paid appropriate attention towards integration of some mandatory safety features for instance Anti Lock Braking System, Corner Stability Control and Electronic Brake Force Distribution.
