Tata Zica aka Sway caught testing, rumored to launch soon
With Zica hatchback ready for launch during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2016 slated to be held next month, domestic car maker Tata Motors has started testing its sibling compact sedan to be named as Sway. It is rumored that car might also unveil the same during the Auto Expo 2016 along with Zica.
Mechanically Sway is reported to be developed with same petrol and diesel engines that will be offered in Zica hatchback that is 1.2 litre three cylinder DOHC aluminum petrol engine boosting the power of 83 bhp and torque of 114 Nm. and diesel variant with 1.0 litre three cylinder diesel engine churning the power of 69 bhp and torque of 140 Nm. The compact sedan is reported to embellish features like Harman infotainment system supporting connectivity Bluetooth, steering mounted audio controls, dual air bags, voice command system, navigation system, electronic ORVMs and ABS.
Developed on Xo platform the compact sedan is reported to carry same looks as offered in front fascia of Zica hatchback followed by minute changes on rear and side portions. After launch in Indian car market the compact sedan will compete against Ford Figo Aspire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent and of-course Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.
