Toyota Innova Crysta to launch during mid of May 2016
The generation next Toyota Innova SUV which would be named as Innova Crysta will be launched during the second week of May this year. Denying the earlier reports of its launch on May 3, 2016 company sources said that now new Innova aka Innova Crysta will be launched sometimes in coming fortnight and will be priced between Rs. 14 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh (ex-showroom price). Some of the dealers across country have already started its bookings.
The new Innova Crysta would be offered with two engine options of 2.4 litre and 2.8 litre in diesel variants with displacement capacity of 2,393cc and 2755cc respectively. The former diesel engine will generate the power of 148 b hp and torque of 243 Nm while the later will produce power of 172 bhp and torque of 360Nm. Both the engines will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system and also with six speed automatic gearbox. The Innova Crysta will adorn the length of 4,735mm, width of 1830mm and height of 1,795mm along with wheelbase of 2,750mm. The additional details of these engine specifications were leaked couple of weeks back.
The worth mentioning features that would be adorned in Innova Crysta are automatic climate control system with rear auto cooler, cruise control and electronic driver seat, 7 inch audio with navigation system. As far as safety features are concerned it would be interested to know that new Innova Crysta will bestow integration of airbags and ABS+EBD as standard features on all variants. It will be offered in overall five trims namely 2.4 GX MT, 2.8 GX AT, 2.4 VX MT, 2.4 ZX MT, 2.8 ZX AT.
