Toyota Launches 2017 Corolla Altis, Priced Rs. 15.87 lakh
Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian alliance of Japanese car maker Toyota Motors has launched the facelift version of its luxurious salon sedan Corolla Altis in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 15.87 lakh for petrol variant and Rs. 17.36 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). In its facelift version the generation next Corolla Altis undergoes wide cosmetic changes in form of newly developed front grille, 16 inch alloy wheels and new LED headlamp cluster with DRLs on the exterior front. Inside the cabin it receives new stylish instrument panel with soft touch dashboard and upgraded Flaxen color treatment.
Under the hood it continues with same existing engine configuration of 1.8 litre petrol Dual VVT-I engine that is capable of churning the power of 138 bhp and torque of 173Nm. The diesel variant is empowered with 1.4 litre engine that boosts the power of 88 bhp and torque of 215Nm. The transmission duty is performed by MT and CVT systems in petrol variant while the diesel variant gets only manual transmission system.
On safety front the new Corolla Altis is embellished with 7 SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist Control System and impact absorbing structure for offering safe and comfort traveling experience to the passengers. Along with these updates the new Corolla Altis also receives a new color option of Phantom Brown.
