My budget is of around 7 to 8.5 lakhs and I want to buy Honda City, I had made up my mind to buy one at the time when discount of about 1 lakh was going on older City, but I am confused or rather shocked to see New City being launched at 7 Lakhs. So which one was overall better, can I get the older version from the company showroom?

I would suggest you to go with the new variant because going with the older version is no sense as it may hamper your resale value as it will have the purchasing of 2011, and with the budget till Rs 8.5 Lakhs you can get a higher variant of City that provides you with better looks and interiors.
