Both the cars are budget friendly and respectively best in their segment. Maruti A-Star has more variants in comparison to Wagon R, so you have better options to choose according to your need. Wagon R has got CNG and LPG variants and also new face lifted models are better equipped than the previous ones while on the other hand Maruti A-star comes with automatic transmission variants. Coming to the resale value, Wagon R has definitely an edge over A-Star. In terms of fuel efficiency Maruti A-star steals the show with a mileage of upto 17kms in city. So choose the best you need.
