Dear Jayakanthan,

These said/desired characteristics are only found in Maruti cars in India, hence you can go for Maruti Swift Dzire sedan instead of Ford Classic Titanium and Nissan Sunny XL. The diesel version of Dzire ZDI has got an ARAI certified mileage of 23.4 kmpl, low maintenance in the long run; spare parts are available easily and at a nominal cost against any competitor. Moreover there is no question about performance when it comes to buying a Maruti car, since the Maruti engineers extract best out of the available engine and here DDIS needs no introduction alongside it is aptly priced sedan that has resulted in an awe-inspiring sales up till now.

But here the essential question is, if you book one now, what will be the tentative time of the delivery. Last month, when everything was normal the top end ZDI waiting period was of more than 6-months. Looking at the current situation when nothing is under-control and Manesar production is at halt, due to labour unrest, we think at least it will take 8-9 months for the delivery, if booked now, or may be more if the strike gets stretched. The other best option among the two remaining sedan choices can be Ford Classic Titanium sedan as it has got nearly all the capabilities to fight with Swift Dzire and additionally a great-size boot and more roomy interiors along with some exciting feature incorporation recently. You can definitely grab this one after you have a test drive. However the Nissan Sunny venture will prove to you an expensive affair keeping in mind your ‘desired’ aspects.
