Cheap but good, Maruti Cervo

Maruti has been leading Indian auto market since about two decades, and it has never actually had a down phase. Now, when Tata is trying to make it to the top with its small and world’s cheapest car Tata Nano, Maruti has come in competition and is prepared to pull down Tata from the first position in small car segment. Maruti is soon launching its small car Maruti Cervo, and what’s even better is that it will launched at the price of around Rs. 2 Lakh.  A really nice looking car at the price of Rs. 2 Lakhs, what more could anybody wish for?

I am eagerly waiting for Maruti to launch this car, so that I can get my hands on it. As per the auto industry, Maruti Cervo will be launched sometime around this year’s festival season. Though, Maruti has not officially confirmed this.

Maruti Cervo will be powered by a 660cc engine that would generate peak power of 54ps and maximum torque of 64nm. I think its quite less as per the highway driving parameters. It is not yet clear how many variants of this car will be made available in the market. But, according to industrialists, the Petrol version of this car is pretty fuel efficient, and delivers mileage of around 17kms per liter in city conditions and 22kms per liter on Highways.

Maruti Cervo will be quite an eye catcher from the outside. It is expected to have nice body curves, pretty similar to that of Maruti Zen Estilo’s. Though, the headlights and tail lights from the pics look totally different. It’s a sweet looking small car, and everybody is surely going to love it. I am expecting the interior of this car to be the well designed one. Maruti is to be appreciated for keeping the quality and design of interiors good, in reference to the low price of this small car. I am quite sure this car will be a big hit in the Indian market.
