Very poor mileage, pickup and engine heating

Pros : comfort, good looking, great performance

Cons : mileage, pickup in 2nd and 3rd gear

Hello ! I am Khalid from lucknow UP, I buy i20 magna (O)1.2VTVT before 28 days, car is very nice, stylish good looking comfort but mileage is very poor 9 km/l in city and in 2nd and 3rd gear starting pickup is very poor, after 10 sec that poor pickup become excellent also I feel engine become more heat in city. May anyone can help me that above problems are right or just I am feeling with new car ( coz before i have Santro xing and that car don't have any  above problem)  and if its right, how can I solve it. Thanks
