Maruti Ertiga – Looks stunning in reality
Pros : Exterior, Interior and comforts
Cons : Boot space & 3rd Row AC Ducting missing
Yesterday, Maruti launched the Ertiga at 5.89 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) and today I got my hands over this sensation MUV at one of the prominent outlets in my city. Though, the model is not thoroughly out for sales, but I am one of the luckiest guys to see this car. Designwise, the Ertiga is a killer animal that has got a punch of many Maruti Suzuki models. The front is just the same as Ritz, but as far as the rear is concerned, I would say it is somewhat similar to Honda Jazz.
Though, it looks small from outside, but the inside glance of this car is entirely different. The dash-board looks similar to the Swift hatchback, but the color is entirely different. The interiors are breezy and have got ample of space for 7 passengers. Moreover, for your comfort and convenience, this car is blessed with AC ducting on the first and the second row, however, the third row lacks AC vents. Added to this, the car has got the well fitted Music system that has got USB & AUX port. The steering mounted audio controls are also one of the complimentary features of this car.
For maximum safety, the Ertiga ZDi has got dual airbags, height adjustable seat belt, ABS and EBD. You would criticize this car due to its compact boot size that certainly hinders you pleasure on long family tours. Let me make you technically more aware, this MUV is available in a 1.4 liter VVT petrol engine and another 1.3 liter DDis diesel engine options. Though, I have not driven this car, but I could certainly say that it will pump out great power and torque.
Overall, I would say that Ertiga is a well designed and fully loaded product for Indian families. I must say that after seeing it standing in the showroom, I have raised my expectations that it is going to be a good seller in India.
